Part of the project will consist of analyzing the elements of the current sector through various socio-technical-economic studies in order to better understand it and thus contribute to its development.

A potential market study will be undertaken: craft brewers will be surveyed in order to have a precise diagnosis of their interests and needs for sourcing organic and local malts and hops.
This study aims to better understand the reality on the ground and to adapt future production capacities to brewers’ expectations.

In parallel with the previous study, a survey of a consumer panel in the Greater Region will be conducted to better understand their purchasing habits, trends and thus better evaluate the potential market.
This survey complements the analysis on the producers and brewers side by providing insight into demand and usage.
